Autumn
2011
Rosa & Robert have been getting on great, doing pleasure
rides and sj leagues, proving that they are the best breed in the world
when a young green pony can take a child off the lead and look after it!
We wish Crossowen Cailin much luck in her new home in Devon. We
will update the youngstock page shortly with pictures of our younger
men, geldings and colts - some exciting guys! We hope the Winter
wont be as harsh as the last, and as always look forwards to 2012 Spring
Arrival (3 CV Cashel foals).
Summer
2011
We said goodbye to Crossowen Timmy who was the first foal
by our own stallion born 8yrs ago, and were delighted to hear from his
new owner to tell us they won dressage on their first outing! Best
of luck to Timmy & Jennifer xxx. Meanwhile Robert (8yrs) has
started to ride Timmy's half sister Rosa (same dam), who is only
13hands, v. green but v. honest, see how it goes... We have been
busy training, and have three young mares now riding under saddle (not
inc. Rosa) - with the downturn in the economy these girls will all have
alternative career to breeding to ensure a good future.
Spring
2011
Taylodge Money Penny has had beautiful filly foal by
Illaunurra Lad,
Loughandonning Beauty has had a lovely filly to
Dunloughan Scott ~ see photos on
2011 foals

evening performance at recent N Ireland Festival which was great
achievement, both sired by CV Cashel. Good Luck to Crossowen Romeo
in lovely new home were he will join his full sister Crossowen Angel.
Autumn
2010
We wish three off our homebred ponies best of luck in
their new homes across the water, the two colt foals Crossowen Phantom
and Crossowen Wise Guy, also the yearling Crossowen Tweed, (pictured
with his new owner). Two of CV Cashel young purebred progeny are
also pictured competing recently at a working hunter show.
Crossowen Lochlann went on to win an arena event competition with two
clears and the fastest time!
4th
September 2010.
Its with much sadness that I write here to say my sister
(Marina Wray) lost her husband James Wray suddenly. Words would
not be good enough to describe the man James was, so I wont even try
that one, and those that knew him will agree! But I just want to say
that he will be sorely missed by us. Pictured to the right is James with
Crossowen Lochlann, in July at the NPS - a lovely day together we will always
remember, among many more. A true gentleman. RIP James Wray.

Summer
- 2010
Crossowen Cailin (maiden mare) has had a lovely colt foal
by Clonberne Boy. Congrats to Cox's with Clogher Valley Gold who
have qualified for RIHS. We were delighted to hear Lorna
Glendenning and her son of CV Cashel took 6th at Balmoral Show in a
large class of Small hunters "L R Clancy" - great for the partbreds. On a
sadder note we sorry to hear the death of Augher Fred, a son of our
premium mare Taylodgemoney Penny by Monaghanstown Fred, he was a super
pony and a pleasure in the 4 years we had him.
Spring
- 2010
Best of luck to two of our broodmares in their new home
in Finland.
We have one smashing colt foal, first foal of Crossowen
Flame (warmblood) by our own stallion.
Well done to Lucy & Crossowen Storm on winning dressage
competition with score of 72%! Storm is pictured in the 2010 BCPS
Cronicle breed show winner.
Winter
- 2010
We had over 3 solid weeks of snow on the ground, drinkers
and taps frozen for same duration. But the ponies out seemed to
love the snow, even our foals live out, we seen temperatures below
minus 10, still better than the rain we get! We said to goodbye to
3 of our ponies all going across the water, two homebred by our resident
stallion CV Cashel. Crossowen Happy safely made the long
journey to an Island of Orkney Island, which was made up of three ferry crossings!!!
We wish them all much luck in the future.
